Fish - The Great Barrier Reef

The sheer number of fish on the reef at any given amount of time is innumerable. However they are mainly small in size, and most will not grow much larger than they already are. However, they play a very important role in the larger food web that is thought the entire reef.

Seen swimming in between the coral, on top of the reef, around it, and through the deep ravines. Fish can be found almost everywhere. They can be swimming to of from somewhere, in any size or colour. Some hiding with almost perfect camouflage, and some bright and colourfull happy to swim freely in the current.

Some fish are happier to live individually, and some as you will see live in large communities. With an age-old saying: safety in numbers, being very apparent.
