Eclectus Parrot - Eclectus roratus

Today's picture is of an Eclectus parrot. The Green colour is indicative that this is a male Parrot. The Females have a red colouration, and occasionally a matching personality. With many pleasing attributes, these birds are very capable of talking and being great pets. In Australia, these birds are highly sought after pets by bird enthusiasts.

Today's photograph is of a tame parrot, indicative of the silver circlip on the foot. His owner is nowhere to be found, and I found him happily sitting in a tree. Beneath the gentle morning light seen in blue through the rainforest canopy, this is a fantastic shot of a wonderful parrot.
