The Brown Honeyeater, depicted today is a species of long-billed honeyeaters found in the North of Australia and across the Western Australian wheat belt.
Today I was able to photograph him whilst he was whistling away trying to call in a mate.
Photographing this bird for the first time today, I can note the detail behind the eye was key to identifying it. Along with it's unusual varied song. The bird is actually very active and hard to keep up too when you are trying to photograph it. The end result after following the bird was taken in the jacaranda trees nearby, making for a unique photograph.
