Whistling Kite - Haliastur sphenurus

For me, Sunday has become a day to relax and watch the kites fly over me as I sit in the afternoon sun.

These birds are very well adapted to life in the sky, they fly around and live with surprisingly little amounts of food.

Today I was lucky enough to fill the camera frame as a kite flew straight past me.
