Recently I got in my old Landrover and travelled South to Uluru. Surprisingly it was a 6-hour drive from where I live in Alice Springs. On Arrival the moon was full, and I was waiting for the sunrise. The moonlight was quite strong, you could see your own shadow. Making a light trail or star trail photograph at night impossible. In the morning the light quickly engulfed the rock, and the heat turned the distance into a pastel haze. Because the rock is about 1.7klm long, this made it very difficult to photograph with a 20mm lens. However here are some photographs, that I really enjoyed taking on my most recent adventure.
