Today's photographs backtrack through my central coast collection still. I spent about a month on the coast finding wildlife in the diverse landscape of the area. Emus are incredibly hard to find; however, once you now where they are you can always find them. These emus had lighter skin and feathers from the ones in Newcastle. I often thought they were a bit different in this area, but maybe part of a subspecies in their own. They are always a bit difficult to photograph, but these emus were friendly and therefore easy to photograph.
