Whilst on sabbatical this week I decided to upload some of my kangaroo photographs. This is a collection of photographs taken on the central coast. The white sandy soil below is the product of the Triassic sandstone underlying and also outcropping in the area. This is a kangaroo extravaganza based on the native population in the area.Adults and their recently born joeys were out and about in large numbers. Photographs were taken with either a Canon 800mm or 400mm EFS-L lens. The camera body was a fairly standard and older model Canon 30d. Overall, I wish I had more time to continue working with this group of roos. At the time the weather held out just enough to photograph for half a day.
