Fish of the Australian Central Desert

At the end of any month, I look back on the work that I have compleated. But also like to finish with something special. This month, I decided to do something very different and make an underwater video about the fish in the local region.

In the centre of Australia finding fish can be a difficult challenge, especially as water is not that easy to find. Often you will find water, but no fish most of the time.

On the last day of June, I hope to share with you the fish of the central desert; in no particular order, The Silver Catfish, Finke Gobi, Spangled Perch, Hyrtl's Catfish, Finke Hardyhead, Boney Bream, Rainbow Fish, Finke Mogurnda, and the Barred Grunter. Most of these fish are endemic to the region and found nowhere else in the world.
