Winter Butterflies

Today when I was walking around I did notice an abundance of white butterflies. The central desert is allways teaming with life, through the seasons it does vary a bit too.

I am unsure if it is related, but it is also quite coincidental that I found a few of these caterpillars too. I am no expert, but I can only assume that they match the butterfly I was earlier today. The timing is too close not to ignore it anyway.

Sitting quite happily on the 'emu' bush. These interesting butterflies are making their way around town, and seem to be quite active. In Australia, these smaller incests and moths play quite a large role in our ecosystems. So I was very happy to see them today, as it means that this region is very healthy.
