Back in 1990 this was one of 3 main roads in and out of the township of Tuggerawong. This is the most direct road to Wyong, the main city centre. Today I wanted to see what it looked like above the trees so I took my Mavic-Pro out for a flight at 80m. The open field and dry riverbed at Tacoma are the last of the bushlands surrounding Tuggerawong before you go to Wyong. These days everywhere is being developed into housing estates, and endless urban suburbs. The peaceful drive in and out of my hometown may never change, but there are indications that one day it will also be developed into a housing estate.
The Australian Emu is a very large bird that roams around the bushlands in Australia. Standing at 180cm off the ground the Emu is a bird that can really intimidate people with its presence. Wild Emus in Australia; however, are more unpredictable than anything; they cause more chaos than harm. I have never met someone who has been attacked by one, but I do know many people who are naturally afraid of a bird the same size as them. If not taller.
