To sum up the year of 2018, I have chosen this photograph. My home and trusty 4x4 that made all of these photographs possible in 2018.
I bought this car to go to university when I was young, and it has been taking the both of us places for many years. When I look back more than ten years ago, I would have never imagined that we would both be in front of Uluru. Nearby the geographical centre of Australia. Nether in the Kimberley region in the last unknown frontiers of the world. Or launching a small boat in the crocodile-infested waters of the Kakadu wetlands. Later listening to music and waiting out a downpour of rain, in the tropical heat of the ancient Daintree rainforest in QLD.
This year has been a very memorable one for sure. Next year I will be continuing my blog, just at a less intense rate. Posting about once a week will be more sustainable. The hope of joining a good school, and teaching again is now a priority to continue my unique way of life. But also sharing and teaching others what I have learnt in life so far. There are plans to visit Tasmania next year, as well as upholding a scholarship to go to Antarctica.
Let us welcome in another year of opportunities in 2019. As I wish off of my readers a happy and prosperous new year. I can assure you it will be just as exciting and adventurous as ever.
