Today's photograph did not work out very well, however, it clearly shows the frill on the lizard.
Something I did learn about today was that these lizards are part of the dragon family. They are in fact the worlds only frilled dragon. The Frill-neck Lizard is a world-famous Australian icon, and it is a shame that the photograph did not turn out. However what it does show is the size of the frill on around the neck when it is partially extended.
The other thing I learned today was that the base of the lens had shifted on my camera, and it needs a fix to make it sharp again. All in a days work.
